Program Learning Goals in Management and Organizational Leadership
The mission of the Management and Organizational Leadership (MOL) major is to develop confident, well-rounded, lifelong learners.
The MOL major learning goals are aligned with the core courses of the program as well as the pathways (see below). Further, the content of the program is aligned with the competency model of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), which broadly applies to professional careers in MOL. The MOL major learning goals are:
Knowledge of principles, practices, and functions of effective management and organizational leadership.
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Ability to develop and implement a compelling vision.
Ability to make evidence-based decisions.
Major Requirements
A total of 65 credit hours, as described below:
Business Core:
