Committee on Graduate Studies

The Graduate School Committee meets regularly with the primary purpose of discussing and recommending Graduate School best practices and policy. It also may review new and existing graduate programs as well as serve as a board of appeals pertaining to Graduate School issues if there is not a clear process delineated elsewhere in the Bulletin. The committee is chaired by the Dean of the Graduate School. Its members include graduate program directors and chairs of graduate academic departments, as well as representatives appointed from other university units (e.g., Writing Center).
