College of Health
At John Carroll University, the College of Health embodies the Jesuit ideal of cura personalis, or care for the whole person, cultivating a new wave of healthcare leaders committed to comprehensive care. Emphasizing the fusion of physical and mental health, we prepare students to navigate the evolving healthcare landscape. While housed within the College of Health, our healthcare curriculum extends its reach across all academic programs. We empower students university-wide to engage with healthcare perspectives.
Mission and Vision
Our mission is to educate and empower compassionate, socially conscious health & wellness professionals through interdisciplinary learning, ethical leadership, and service. Rooted in justice, reflection, and cura personalis, we prepare graduates to think critically, lead boldly, and promote healing in all communities.

By focusing on equity-driven care, creative problem-solving through technology, and the development of sustainable self-care habits, the program ensures that graduates are not only clinically proficient but also compassionate, innovative, and resilient leaders in their fields.
