Introduces Catholic Social Teaching, from its historical origins through today, focusing on its basic principles and norms for discernment and judgment, leading to criteria for action to address contemporary social challenges, especially in the areas of economic, political, immigration, peace and war. Does not satisfy the Jesuit Heritage TRS Core requirement. Restrictions: TRS Majors, TRS Minors, Graduate Students (MA or Certificate), or by permission from Department Chair.
